Kao Denero Joins MamaYe to Save Lives

Leading hip hop artist and peace ambassador with a massive youth following, Kao Denero joins the MamaYe campaign in support of raising awareness around issues of maternal and newborn health in Sierra Leone.
Leading hip hop artist and peace ambassador with a massive youth following, Kao Denero joins the MamaYe campaign in support of raising awareness around issues of maternal and newborn health in Sierra Leone. For the MamaYe campaign he pens a song called ‘Mama en Pikin’ featuring gospel soul singer Esther Michaels.  Kao Denero is no stranger to singing about social issues; he is the founder of ‘Mama Nor Dae Nar Os Pikin Foundation’ which is dedicated to supporting children without parents. Kao Denero joins MamaYe because he “believes in the cause, it’s a beautiful thing to support our mothers and babies”. In his opening performance at the MamaYe launch last week Friday he reiterated his support for MamaYe my reminding the audience that “[he] is MamaYe, you are Mamaye, we are all MamaYe”. Kao Denero is joined by singer to perform his live set for MamaYe Sierra LeoneKao Denero and a MamaYe activist
