"Dear Colleagues,You are warmly invited to attend the second UK-Sierra Leone Health Partners Conference on 15th March 2014 at the Henriette Raphael Building, Guys Campus, London, SE1 1UL.The UK-Sierra Leone Health Partners network (UKSLHP) was launched in April 2012 by the King’s Centre for Global Health to facilitate communication and collaboration between organisations supporting the Sierra Leonean health system. The conference was a great success, bringing together over 100 delegates and receiving considerable support. We want to establish UKSLHP as a permanent, vibrant network of organisations which facilitates communication, collaboration, and best practice in health care development in Sierra Leone.We therefore warmly invite you to attend the second UK-Sierra Leone Health Partners Conference on 15th March 2014 for the re-launch of the network. Places are limited, so please register your interest at www.surveymonkey.com/s/UKSLHPWe want to celebrate the excellent work of the network's members, and therefore invite you to submit a 400 word abstract for a poster or workshop presentation of original research or experiences of successes/challenges in health interventions in Sierra Leone. Please submit your abstract to info@ukslhp.org before Monday 24th February stating whether it is for a poster or workshop presentation, or both. Workshop presentations should expect to last 15 minutes.The conference is aimed at individuals and organisations working to improve health in Sierra Leone. It is also open to people with previous health-related experience in Sierra Leone, those considering working in Sierra Leone, and those supporting others to do so.
