Charles Makwenda is the Director of Parent and Child Health Initiative (PACHI), an NGO working in partnership with University College London (UCL). He would like to bring together the different skill sets to contribute to better outcomes for mothers and children in Malawi. He has high energy for MamaYe because it brings in new thinking in maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH).
Charles is an improvement expert trained by Institute for Health care improvement (USA) with 15 years of working experience on different projects in the private sector, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and working with the Ministry of health.
He has a Masters of Science in Leadership and Change Management from Leads Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree from the University of Malawi - Polytechnic.
