LAGOS PHC STOCKOUT OF ESSENTIAL LIFE-SAVING COMMODITIES SCORECARDS
There has been some reduction in stock outs of essential life-saving commodities in Primary health facilities from January to June 2018, though most facilities witnessed stockouts in the last three months.
Therefore, the Lagos State Accountability mechanism for Maternal and newborn health (LaSAM) ask that the Lagos State Government should release funds to procure essential live-saving commodities so that these commodities can be provided free at the PHCs. The observed stockout of commodities across most of the PHCs in the last 3 months can be attributed to lack of these commodities in the state for distribution.
