Professional associations join forces to strengthen supportive supervision

This case study is part of our book, MamaYe Evidence for Action Stories of Change: Selected Case Studies. Through illustrative case studies, we describe how Evidence for Action - MamaYe has strategically combined evidence with advocacy and accountability activities in
six countries, across Africa, and globally.

In this case study, we describe how our country team in Ghana instigated a supportive supervision scheme in hospitals and primary care facilities in two regions of the country with the highest need: Upper West and Greater Accra. We recount the results, challenges and
lessons learned from this experience.
